God's Algorithm

I know many people who are slaves to an algorithm. They are told they must post "content" regularly so they can be seen and grow their audience. Then they have to engage with that audience in the prescribed way or they will be hosed. No one will "like" them, they won't make money, nor will they be seen or have influence. 

I abolished slavery in my life, and I have no other Gods before my One beloved. It is my experience that God has algorithms that will outsmart any programmer or hacker. For example, even if I only post once a year on social media and only blog when my life has space and I feel inspired, my post can still reach the people it is meant to. 

​I get messages frequently that say, "you wouldn't believe how I found you," or "I found you in the randomest way." Why do I need to be seen by 1000 people when only 3% are reachable and teachable in that moment. I don't need to fill the world with a whirlwind of "content" meant to keep me/my thoughts/my offerings "top of mind."  

​God's algorithm works with minds too. Have you experienced someone or something coming to your mind unbidden? I can't tell you how many times people tell me that exact search terms have come into their mind--often words they didn't even know before. 

When your intuition is awakened or restored there is a direct perception of knowledge from the source of all knowledge. No need to go to books or the cyclone of the internet. 

If you depend on an algorithm for your livelihood, you are beholden to a system designed to rob your peace. As you may have seen in the past (with TikTok almost going dark and FB changing their algorithms to less and less favorable to you), the rug can be pulled out from under you at any time. I wonder what would happen if more people could put their faith in a higher algorithm.

Speaking only to business owners here--I have done the research and there is almost zero ROI on social media follows. The best ROI still comes from meaningful communication with your email list. Of course, not just any list--people who want to be there. I have an email list that I have maintained for years, and I love it when people subscribe, but I also love it when they unsubscribe because that means my list is more intimate and has people who actually want to hear from me. It is part of my practice of non-stealing not to steal people's time with messages they don't want.
